(I've watched the therapists make any game be a tool for therapy. From P.I.G./H.O.R.S.E. in basketball, to UNO, to Chutes and Ladders. They simply add a new rule which inserts an emotion element which allows the open door to discuss cause/effect or to name an emotion and understand how to handle it better.)

* To read/watch. Either waiting for resource to be in stock at www.gacrs.org or next on our reading list. http://www.gaadoptionresources.org/library offers a 5-week period at-a-time to lend books for free. They mail them to your home and include a self-stamped envelope for the returns. Most states offer a lending library. We have found this as a great resource because our local library does not have as many titles specific to adoption and foster care issues.
